Raabia Kabani, M.Ed. Registered Provisional Psychologist

I Am Currently Not Accepting New Clients.

Welcome to my therapist page, please take a minute to see if I am the provisional psychologist for you. It can be helpful to know a bit about the psychologist or any other professional, medical practitioner whom you are seeking service or treatment from.

Counselling Statement:

I aim to provide a safe, warm, and non-judgmental atmosphere in therapy in which clients feel comfortable to explore their inner worlds. I believe that clients are the experts in their lives and therefore I work collaboratively with them to identify strengths and areas of growth, as well as create meaningful change. I draw from a variety of therapeutic modalities including person-centered, cognitive-behavioural, and play-based approaches and tailor treatment based on clients’ individual needs. I understand how difficult it can be to seek out help and it is my goal to support you on this incredible journey of self-discovery and growth. If you believe that my approach is the right fit for you, please contact us to set up an appointment.

I began my post-secondary studies in Edmonton where I obtained my undergraduate degree in Education with a minor in Educational Psychology. It was during this time that I developed an interest in the area of counselling and decided to pursue a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology at the University of Alberta. Since then, I have had the privilege of supporting a diverse range of clients in various settings, which has been immensely gratifying and humbling.

In my free time, I enjoy a variety of hobbies including reading, travelling, music, baking, and spending time with my loved ones.
