Welcome to my therapist page, please take a minute to see if I am the psychologist for you. It can be helpful to know a bit about the psychologist or any other professional, medical practitioner whom you are seeking service or treatment from.
Counselling Statement:
Deciding to come to counselling can be a difficult decision - we live in a society where it’s hard to express that we’re “not okay.” My goal in counselling is to provide you with a space that is safe and non-judgmental, and to work with you to build the mindset and skills that you need to be the best version of yourself. Because everyone is different, and everyone’s challenges vary, I practice from an integrative approach, using different evidence-based approaches depending on your needs.
One of my personal values is inclusivity. Regardless of your gender, race, ethnicity, age, or sexual orientation, please know that you are welcome.
Couples/Marriage Counselling Statement:
Being in a relationship is hard, which is not something we talk enough about. If you and your partner are struggling, you’re not alone and I can work with you to rebuild intimacy, closeness, and trust. I use Gottman couples counselling, which starts with a detailed assessment of relationship strengths and problem areas, followed by the introduction of skills to improve friendship and intimacy, navigate conflict respectfully and productively, and create a sense of shared meaning in your lives together.

Biography
Life has unexpected twists and turns. I started my career as a pharmacist and later returned to university to complete my Bachelors in Psychology and Masters in Counselling. With my pharmacy background, I bring an awareness of the importance of physical health and medication on mental wellbeing, which I integrate into my counselling practice.
My counselling experience includes working with adolescents and adults with a wide range of concerns at the University of Alberta Clinical Services and the YWCA Edmonton. I also have experience completing psychological and psychoeducational assessments to aid in the diagnosis of mental health and learning concerns.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, exploring the mountains, trying new restaurants, and of course, catching up on the latest Netflix shows.
