Welcome to my therapist page, please take a minute to see if I am the psychologist for you. It can be helpful to know a bit about the psychologist or any other professional, medical practitioner whom you are seeking service or treatment from.
Counselling Statement:
I believe that each of us is worthy and capable of living a life with purpose and meaning. As an attachment-based therapist, I foster relationships built on safety and trust, where people feel accepted and encouraged to grow in the ways that matter to them. Reaching out for help can be difficult, and I am honored when my clients tell me that my warm and compassionate style makes the experience easier. My top priority is supporting you, and I tailor the counselling experience to best meet your needs. I consider it the greatest privilege to journey with someone through their challenges, pains, and fears. While no life is free from stress and problems, I know that people can heal and empower themselves to experience more authenticity, joy, and fulfillment. I truly believe that such a life is within your reach.
Couples/Marriage Counselling Statement:
Relationships can be the greatest source of both joy and frustration in our lives. There is no denying that we suffer when our relationships do. I am an attachment-based therapist who works with couples to help them create a secure attachment wherein each person feels accepted, validated, and safe. I help couples identify the negative patterns that may be keeping them stuck in conflict and distress. Through empathy and engagement, couples can experience the strengthening of a secure bond and safe connection between them, which helps to create greater intimacy and relationship satisfaction.

Biography
I worked in corporate client relations for many years. While I enjoyed developing relationships with both colleagues and clients very much, I always longed to make the connections more intimate, and the work I engaged in more personally profound. I returned to school to complete my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, completing my practicum at the prestigious Calgary Counselling Centre to pursue my dream of working with people in more meaningful and engaged ways. My unique blend of different backgrounds places me in a distinct position of understanding the stress and strain of corporate life, the struggles involved in feeling stuck, and the stress associated with life transitions, even when they are both necessary and wanted.
In my spare time I enjoy being outdoors, cooking, reading, and spending time with my partner, twin daughters, and our cat Abby.
