We are currently seeking a Registered Psychologist or Registered Provisional Psychologist for a contractor role focused on psychological assessments, including psychoeducational, learning disability, ADHD, ASD, and other diagnostic assessments.
This role provides an opportunity to help develop and grow our assessment services within an established and supportive group practice. The position will begin as casual to part-time, with the opportunity to build over time as services develop.
In addition to psychologists, we also welcome inquiries from allied health professionals whose work aligns with our services. This may include:

Speech-Language Pathologists

Occupational Therapists
-
Other regulated health professionals
We are open to exploring how additional disciplines may integrate into our clinic to better support the needs of our clients and community.
The Role!
The successful candidate will provide psychological assessments within their areas of training and competence. This may include:
-
Psychoeducational assessments
-
Learning disability assessments
-
ADHD assessments
-
ASD assessments
-
Other mental health and diagnostic assessments
We welcome applicants with experience in one or more of these areas. Candidates may work with children, youth, and/or adults depending on their background and areas of practice.
This is a developing service area, and referral volume will build over time with support from the clinic.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:

Master's degree (minimum requirement).

Currently registered with the College of Alberta Psychologists.

Individual professional liability/malpractice insurance required.
-
Training and/or experience in conducting psychological assessments (e.g., psychoeducational, learning disability, ADHD, ASD, and other mental health assessments).

Ability to work with children, youth, and adults.
-
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
-
Excellent organizational skills.
-
Ability to work effectively in a team and/or independently.
The following would be considered assets:

Experience conducting Giftedness assessments.
-
Experience working with insurance-based cases.
-
Experience with return-to-work programming.
-
Suicide intervention training.
-
Understanding of and/or work experience with Indigenous Peoples.
