Welcome to my therapist page, please take a minute to see if I am the Social Worker for you. It can be helpful to know a bit about the Social Worker or any other professional, medical practitioner whom you are seeking service or treatment from. I provide service in English and Shona.

I am a Registered Social Worker with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work and over a decade of experience supporting individuals and families across diverse settings. My career has centered on promoting mental health and well-being through compassionate, collaborative, and evidence-informed care. I have extensive experience working with children and adolescents with complex mental health needs in the non-profit sector, as well as serving as a Family Counsellor within Addiction and Mental Health Community Outpatient programs at Recovery Alberta (formerly Alberta Health Services).
My practice is grounded in a trauma-informed and strengths-based approach, emphasizing resilience, connection, and empowerment throughout the healing process. I am passionate about creating safe and inclusive spaces where clients feel heard, supported, and encouraged to build upon their strengths as they navigate life’s challenges and work toward meaningful personal and relational growth.

Counselling Statement
My counselling practice is grounded in empathy, respect, and collaboration. I believe that every person has an inherent capacity for strength, resilience, and growth. My role is to provide a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your experiences, gain insight, and work toward meaningful change. Together, we focus on building coping strategies, deepening self-understanding, and supporting your overall well-being and recovery.
I draw on a range of evidence-based approaches, tailoring each session to your unique needs, goals, and pace. My work is trauma-informed and culturally sensitive, honouring the significance of your identity, context, and lived experience throughout the therapeutic process. Ultimately, my aim is to help you enhance emotional well-being, cultivate healthy coping skills, and foster a greater sense of self-awareness, connection, and empowerment in your life.
