Counselling Statement

My work experiences include roles as a clinical addiction therapist, concurrent disorder specialist, mental health consultant and outpatient mental health clinician. I’m particularly passionate about trauma therapy, helping people get unstuck from the past and move forward with their lives. Another area of my passion is to explore the therapeutic benefits of the human-companion animal relationship. I recently completed the study on the effects of the human-companion animal relationship on our emotional, behavioural, social and spiritual lives.
